The Department of Corrections in the state of Arizona's main mission is to ensure that their organization provides a secure environment for the offenders and the state they serve throughout their remedial facilities and programs.

The Department of Corrections primary way to achieve their vision to make sure all wrongdoers are safely secured in facilities throughout the state of Arizona. Inside of these facilities, the DOC will ensure that all living and habitat environments are up to code that will surpass their level of standards, but also the United States level of standards as well.

All the facilities will also have programs that will encourage these offenders to take responsibility for their actions, to look to the future, and hopefully have them not come back into the custody of the DOC when they leave.

With the DOC employs many people who will work inside the facilities or outside the facilities in the various offices around to ensure that all offenders are getting the help that they need and that they deserve.
