There has always been a Bunnell Jail since 1915. This is when the first and original Bunnell Jail opened its doors. This Bunnell Jail was situated on the top floor of the old Bunnell courthouse.

However, the Bunnell Jail that is in operation now was replacing the original jail. The Bunnell Jail officially opened its doors back in June of 1979.

Visiting Rules

The Bunnell Jail solely does video visitation through Securus Technologies. These visitations are non-contact visitation. The Bunnell Jail does not have contact visitation.

You can do a 20-minute-long video visit in the lobby for no fee. You will need to schedule your visiting minimum of 24 hours in advance. You can do these visits from home or from the Bunnell Jail. Inmates are permitted 2 visits per calendar week.
