Inmate Search

The Columbus Jail as we previously talked about is a short-term holding pen for inmates who have been arrested in and around the Columbus City. With people getting arrested daily and people also leaving the Columbus Jail Daily, it is hard for the facility to keep an up to the minute updated roster for the general public to search through.

This is the prime reason why the Columbus Jail does not have their inmate roster available to the public. If you have questions or are looking for someone in the Columbus Jail, you will need to get in contact with facility with your questions, comments, and concerns.

Sending a Mail

Again, as we previously talked about the Columbus Jail is not a long-term holding facility for inmates. Inmates are in and out of the facility quickly.

With, you are not permitted to send inmates packages, handwritten letters, or cash because by the time they would get these items they would not be in the Columbus Jail any longer.
