Inmate Search
The Fairfield Jail as we previously talked about is a short-term holding pen for inmates who have been arrested in and around the Fairfield City. With people getting arrested daily and people also leaving the Fairfield Jail Daily, it is hard for the facility to keep an up to the minute updated roster for the general public to search through.
This is the prime reason why the Fairfield Jail does not have their inmate roster available to the public. If you have questions or are looking for someone in the Fairfield Jail, you will need to get in contact with facility with your questions, comments, and concerns.
Sending a Mail
Again, as we previously talked about the Fairfield Jail is not a long-term holding facility for inmates. Inmates are in and out of the facility quickly.
With, you are not permitted to send inmates packages, handwritten letters, or cash because by the time they would get these items they would not be in the Fairfield Jail any longer.
Please do not send any of these above items to the Fairfield Jail as it will not be given to the inmate. It will not be forwarded to the inmate. It will be sent back to the original sender.

Phone Calls
The only privilege inmates will have while they are passing the time in the Fairfield Jail is, they will have the chance to use the telephones.
The telephone system here is not like county, state, or federal prisons. The Fairfield Jail only allows inmates to make collect calls only. So, if the person the inmate is trying to reach does not have a landline, they will never receive the call.
All calls will be limited to around 15 to 20 minutes depending on how many inmates are currently in the Fairfield Jail.
You will also need to keep in mind that no phone calls here at the Fairfield Jail are private. There will always be a Fairfield Jail staff member that will be listening to all phone calls that are made from the facility. That staff member has the right to disconnect the call at their discretion.
Visiting Rules
Visitation at the Fairfield Jail is only reserved for the inmate’s legal counsel. Family and friends of the inmates will not be permitted to visit.
