Sending a Mail
The Madison County Jail inmates are allowed to get written letters from their family and friends. Drawings, signs, or symbols are not permitted to be on these letters. If this policy is not kept the letter will get thrown away. Before sending your letters make sure you write a return address on the envelope.
Laminated mail and mail without a return address is not accepted.

You will not be able to use a personal check to fund an inmate's account.
The Madison County Jail inmates in the general population are allowed to get collect calls. You will only be able to receive a collect call if you have a landline. You will not be able to receive any collect calls from a cell phone. The individual receiving these collect calls is the one responsible for any and all fees that are associated with the collect calls. The Madison County Jail is not accountable for any of the charges from the collect calls.
Calling features such as three-way calling and call forwarding are not permitted for the inmates to use. If an inmate is caught using any of these features the call will be disconnected right away. Disciplinary action will be taken up against the inmate as well.
