Sending a Mail

Inmates in the Bellevue Jail can receive handwritten letters from family and friends. These letters should be made out as followed:

Sending Money

Inmates will need money, so they can purchase things from the canteen. You can send a money order to the Bellevue Jail or you can come down with the money order to the Bellevue Jail.

You will need to have the inmate’s name along with their inmate identification number.

Phone Calls

The Bellevue Jail has provided two ways that inmates can call home.

The first way is the traditional collect calls. You, the receiver will be responsible for paying the fees when answering a collect call.

If you do not have a landline or do not want to pay the crazy collect call fees, the inmate can go through Global Tel Link (GTL). With Global Tel Link the inmate and you will have to pay for this service as well, but the Global Tel Link allows you to pay by the month or prepaid. It will be up to you on what you decide to choose.

Visiting Rules

In order to visit an inmate at the Bellevue Jail, you will be required to be 18 years of age. Minors are not permitted to visit inmates without their parent or legal guardian present. Minors are permitted to visit ONLY on Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays.

In order to visit an inmate at the Bellevue Jail, you will need one of the following identifications:

  • Passport

  • Driver’s License

  • Military ID

  • State Identification Card

Only two adults will be permitted to visit between Monday through Friday. While on the weekends and federal holidays, there will be a maximum of one adult and two children or two adults.

Inmates in the Bellevue Jail will only be permitted to have two 20-minute visits every calendar week.
