Sending a Mail

Sending Money

The inmates in the Trimble County Jail will need funds to make purchases from the commissary, which is also known as the canteen. From the commissary, inmates can purchase clothing, beverages, food, snack items, entertainment, arts and crafts and so much more.

In order for inmates to make phone calls to their family and friends, inmates will need money. These phone calls must be paid for since they are not free.

Phone Calls

The Trimble County Jail inmates are not allowed to get phone calls from their family or friends. During phone time inmates are allowed to make phone calls to their family and friends. The inmates are limited to 15-minute phone calls. The call will get terminated as soon as the 15-minutes is over.  

Calling features such as three-way calling and call forwarding are forbidden for the inmates to use. If an inmate is caught using any of these features the call will get disconnected and disciplinary action will be taken up against the inmate.

The Trimble County Jail inmates are allowed to only make collect phone calls. You will only be able to receive a collect call from an inmate from a landline phone. However, you will not be able to receive any collect calls from a mobile phone. The individual receiving the collect call is the one responsible for and all fees associated with the collect calls. The Trimble County Jail is not accountable for any and all charges associated with the collect calls.  

Visiting Rules
