The first way is the traditional collect calls. You, the receiver will be responsible for paying the fees when answering a collect call.

With Global Tel Link the inmate and you will have to pay for this service as well, but the Global Tel Link allows you to pay by the month or prepaid. It will be up to you on what you decide to choose.
In order to visit an inmate at the Las Vegas Detention Center, you will be required to be 18 years of age. Minors are not permitted to visit inmates without their parent or legal guardian present. Minors are permitted to visit ONLY on Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays.
In order to visit an inmate at the Las Vegas Detention Center, you will need one of the following identifications:

Only two adults will be permitted to visit between Monday through Friday. While on the weekends and federal holidays, there will be a maximum of one adult and two children or two adults.
Inmates in the Las Vegas Detention Center will only be permitted to have two 20-minute visits every calendar week.
