Another decently sized division is the Rhode Island Department of Corrections. Why is it only decently sized, you may ask? Well, you should note that there is only around 1,500 people in the custody of them. What does it mean the people in custody?
Well, this means not only people who are incarcerated in a facility, but also people who got paroled and even the people who are on probation.
However, the main mission at the Rhode Island Department of Corrections is always about restoring detainees and ensuring that they are rehabilitated and ready to tackle the outside world with no issue.
You should note that the Rhode Island Department of Corrections is one of the biggest organizations that hires majority of the residents here in the state. They hire mainly officers, but at the same time there or other jobs that are more administrative like. Please do not apply if you are not willing to undergo extensive training.
