Sending a Mail

The Carrizales-Rucker Cameron County Detention Center inmates will need funds to make purchases at the commissary. Funds will also be needed in order for inmates to make phone calls to their friends and family.

Phone Calls

The Carrizales-Rucker Cameron County Detention Center inmates are not allowed to get phone calls from their family or friends. During phone time inmates are allowed to make phone calls to their family and friends. The inmates are limited to 15-minute phone calls. The call will get terminated as soon as the 15-minutes is over.  

Calling features such as three-way calling and call forwarding are forbidden for the inmates to use. If an inmate is caught using any of these features the call will get disconnected and disciplinary action will be taken up against the inmate. 

The Carrizales-Rucker Cameron County Detention Center inmates are allowed to only make collect phone calls. You will only be able to receive a collect call from an inmate from a landline phone. However, you will not be able to receive any collect calls from a mobile phone. Visiting Rules

Inmates in the Carrizales-Rucker Cameron County Detention Center are allowed to get visitors. You will not be allowed in the visitation area if you are wearing any of the forbidden clothing. You will not be allowed to go in the visitation area if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol as well. The jail staff can refuse a visitation for any reason without notice.
