Finding someone in the Snohomish County Jail is very simple. You don't have to find the correct phone number, to be transferred from one person to next, to be put on hold, or get disconnected.

Sending a Mail
Inmates in the Snohomish County Jail can receive written letters from their family and friends. These letters cannot contain many things or else they will be sent back to the original sender.
Keep in mind that the inmates cannot receive the following items:

- Pens
- Pencils
- Polaroids
- Gang Related Items
- Sexual in Nature Photos
- Drawings
- Stickers
- Glitter
Inmates can receive books, magazines, and newspapers. These books, magazines, and newspapers are required to be sent directly to the jail from the bookstore or the publisher. All books will need to be new. All books will need to be paperback. No used or hardcover books are permitted.

Sending Money
Snohomish County Jail inmates will need to have money to make purchases for day to day life items they will need from the commissary.
If you would like to fund an inmate you can drop off cashier checks, money order and cash to the front desk in the Snohomish County Jail. From there the jail staff will deposit the funds into the inmate’s account.
In order for the staff to place the funds into the correct account, you will need to make sure you have the inmate’s number and their inmate full name, so the jail staff can put the funds into the proper account.
You will have to wait several days before the funds will be deposited.
Phone Calls
The Snohomish County Jailinmates are able to call home to their friends and family. Inmates are only allowed to make collect calls. Inmates are only able to call those who possess a landline phone. Those who have cell phones will not be able to get any collect calls. The individual receiving the collect call is the one responsible for any and all fees from the collect call. Snohomish County Jail is not the one responsible for any charges from the collect calls.
Calling features such as three-way calling and call forwarding are not permitted for the inmates to use. If an inmate is found using any of these features the call will be disconnected immediately, and disciplinary action will be taken up against the inmate.
Visiting Rules
Inmates at the Snohomish County Jail are allowed to have visitors. The Snohomish County Jail visitations are video visitation only. You will need to call 425-388-3395.
Before you are allowed to visit an inmate you will need to be on the inmate’s visitation list. All inmates in good standing are allowed 1 free video visit for each week. The video visit will be no longer than 20 minutes.
Inmates at Snohomish County Jail who are on disciplinary lockdown will only be allowed to have visitors from their immediate family only.
